STEPtember 2025: We didn’t just beat last year’s total – we smashed it!
Wow – just incredible! CPI’s commitment to our annual STEPtember fundraiser and chosen charities has once again proven that great things can be achieved.
Every September, CPI asks colleagues to take part in raising money by logging their step count for the month. For every mile they walk (or run!) CPI donates 75p towards their site’s chosen charity.
Here are the highlights from STEPtember 2025:
Total Funds Raised
Huge congratulations to colleagues who collectively raised an astounding £18,394.01 to donate across the chosen charities. Their efforts will make a significant difference in the lives of many through the local charities supported.
Further to the site’s chosen charities, this year we will be matching this total for our corporate partner charity, Marie Curie, meaning they will also receive £18,394.01 to go towards the brilliant work they do to support end of life care for all.
Miles Covered
Pen Le Kelly, communication and engagement manager, said:
“This year, we smashed our previous record by covering an impressive 24,525 miles (up from 19,591 miles last year). To put that in perspective, that’s like travelling from New York to New Zealand… via London!”
Site Achievements
Top Stepping Site: Harlow – they collectively amassed an incredible 7,969,523 steps (3,985 miles)!
Best Average Steps Per Person: Manchester – Averaging 17,700 steps per person per day. Fantastic job!
Pen continued: “Once again, a huge well done to everyone who participated. Their commitment has not only helped us surpass our previous records but also brought us closer as a team. It’s been another remarkable year for STEPtember, and we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of them.”
