Camden Lock

Camden has long been a popular haunt for London’s visitors and residents, with its scenic canal, famous food markets and equally notorious music venues.

For the recent construction of Camden Lock Village, a 50,000 sq m mixed-use development, it was crucial to honour the cultural landmarks which give Camden its unique identity, whilst still creating new spaces for job opportunities and living accommodation. 

On this project, CPI EuroMix provided a mortar solution to meet with the client’s exacting demands. CPI used a mixture of bulk bags and silos amounting to 1,200t; ensuring the site teams were able to produce the exact amount of material required for this large-scale project.

CPI’s silo mixing station is delivered readily to site, where it is plugged into water and power. Ready to go at the touch of a button, a silo holds up to 35 tonnes of dry mortar, and produces a perfectly mixed mortar credited to industry standard, BS EN ISO 9001:2000. As well as maintaining mix and colours, the system also minimises waste, helping to reduce the environmental impact of projects during construction.
