CPI Euromix worked with developer, Pegasus Life, and brickwork contractor, Galostar, on this large-scale complex, which boasts a striking bevelled brick façade complementary to the surrounding topography.

Designed by architects, Morris + Company, Belle Vue is ‘building proof’ of how to reinvent the wheel of retirement living schemes. Comprising one and two-bedroom flats, a wellness centre and bountiful gardens, the 10-storey Belle Vue is a place to relax, unwind and indulge in the many features the development has to offer.

To achieve the exterior brick façade and textured brick base, CPI used a mixture of bulk bags and silos amounting to 450t. The silo mixing stations meant operators could produce the exact amount of material required, preventing unnecessary waste.

Capable of holding up to 35 tonnes of dry mortar, the silo mixing stations can be delivered to site where it is plugged into water and power. As required, at the simple touch of a button, the silo produces a perfectly mixed mortar. As well as maintaining mix and colours, the system also minimises waste, helping to reduce the environmental impact of projects during construction.
